What the website stores
The site has no user accounts, server-side contact-form processor, user database, analytics package or advertising cookies. Checklist selections are stored only in the visitor’s own browser using local storage. The Case Guide conversation is held temporarily in the open page’s memory and is cleared when the page is reloaded or closed.
AI Case Guide
When a visitor sends a message, that text, the recent conversation and the current page path are sent through the site’s AWS serverless endpoint to Amazon Bedrock so that a response can be generated. The configured service uses Amazon Nova Micro in the AWS Europe (London) Region. The site does not intentionally write chat transcripts to a database or include message text in application logs. AWS and network providers may still process technical request data such as IP address, timestamp and service diagnostics.
Case Guide is automated. Its responses may be incomplete, outdated or wrong; they are general information drawn from anonymised personal experience and public procedural material, not legal advice or a decision about an individual case. Messages are not routinely read or answered by a person.
Contact messages
The contact page prepares an email in the visitor’s own email application. Nothing is submitted to or stored by the website itself. If the visitor chooses to send that email, the sender’s and recipient’s email providers process and store it. The site operator should retain messages only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated enquiry and legal or security needs.
Optional support payments
The support button opens a payment page hosted by Stripe. Card and payment details are entered directly on Stripe’s service and are not collected or stored by this website. Stripe provides the site operator with payment records and limited payer and transaction information needed to administer the contribution, refunds, disputes and accounting. Stripe processes that information under its own privacy policy. A contribution is optional, does not purchase legal advice or priority access and is not a charitable donation.
Do not send case information
Visitors must not put names, addresses, case numbers, vehicle registrations, court documents, confidential or privileged material, identification documents, financial details, health information, children’s information or other sensitive personal data into Case Guide or the contact email. Neither facility is a channel for legal advice or time-critical case communications.
Hosting logs
Amazon S3, Amazon CloudFront, DNS providers or other hosting services may process technical data such as IP addresses, timestamps and request details depending on the owner’s configuration. The site owner must update this notice if access logging, analytics, a form service, a content delivery network or another processor is enabled.
